  • We may use service providers (e.g., infrastructure, analytics, AI, research, payments) to operate the service.
  • Do not misuse the service (no unlawful content, no scraping/overloading, no reverse engineering).
  • NutriGuide is provided “as is” without warranties; our liability is limited as described below.
  • Sign-in may use third-party providers (OAuth) and we may require email verification. We send transactional communications; news updates and Research Monitor digests are optional and include unsubscribe links.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using NutriGuide, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age required by your local law) to use NutriGuide. If you use the service on behalf of another person or entity, you represent that you have authority to bind them to these Terms.

Accounts and Security

  • Provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for activities under your account and for promptly notifying us of any unauthorized use.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose risk to the service or others.
  • You may sign in via third-party providers (OAuth). We may create or link your account based on information received from the provider. Your use of third-party sign-in is governed by that provider’s terms.
  • Some features may require email verification. For accounts created via OAuth, password features may be limited.

Subscriptions and Billing

Some features are offered via paid subscriptions that auto-renew until canceled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Payments are processed by independent payment processors (Stripe). We do not store full payment card numbers. Prices may change; we will provide notice as required by law or by the applicable storefront. Taxes may apply.

Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable. Where a refund is required, it will be processed by the same method of payment where feasible.

Communications

We may send transactional messages related to the service (e.g., email verification, password resets, payment receipts). You can manage your news updates preferences in settings and opt out at any time.

Research Monitor digests are optional. Each message includes an unsubscribe link, which may use secure tokens.

Health and Safety Disclaimer

NutriGuide provides general wellness information. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional with questions about a medical condition, diet, supplements, or medications. Never ignore or delay seeking professional advice because of information you read here.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.

Information about supplements, interactions, or tests may be incomplete or not tailored to your unique circumstances. You are responsible for your use of any information provided by NutriGuide.

Acceptable Use

  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • No infringing, unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive content or activity.
  • No scraping, crawling, or automated access except as permitted by robots.txt or our written permission.
  • No reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to derive source code, except where permitted by law.
  • No interfering with or disrupting the service, including by overloading or bypassing access controls.

User Content and Intellectual Property

You may submit content (for example, wellness inputs you choose to store). You retain your rights to your content. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, host, store, reproduce, and display that content solely to operate, improve, and provide NutriGuide to you and other users.

You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to submit any content, and that your content does not violate the law or any third-party rights. We may remove content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or the law.

NutriGuide, including logos, visuals, text, software, and trademarks, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the service in accordance with these Terms.

Third-Party Services and Links

NutriGuide may integrate with or link to third-party websites and services, including infrastructure, analytics, payment processing, AI service providers, research and search providers, and anti-bot verification technologies. For payments, we use payment processors (Stripe). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content or practices. Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms and policies.

Disclaimers

NutriGuide is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, accurate, or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the service. Our aggregate liability for all claims relating to the service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to us for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $50.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless us and our affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorney fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the service.

Termination

You may stop using NutriGuide at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. Upon termination, provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of your place of residence or, if you represent an entity, the place where that entity is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If a dispute arises, the parties will first attempt to resolve it informally. If not resolved within 30 days, disputes will be submitted to the competent courts in a jurisdiction reasonably connected to either party, unless applicable law provides otherwise.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date above. If changes materially affect your rights, we will provide additional notice as required by law.
